I've been doing celtic artwork, on and off since the late 1980's. Ive been working towards producing work the same size as the Book of Kells and the Lindesfarne Gospels. The last time I had worked on one was 10 years ago so the latest one took me a year and half to get back upto to speed. During that process I produced 8 versions trying different palettes.
